12 Ways to Use Claude With Your Business WhatsApp (Copy-Paste Prompts)

If you run a small business, WhatsApp is probably where the real work happens: customers asking for prices, suppliers confirming deliveries, your team coordinating in groups, and payments to chase. It all ends up in one long list of chats.

Once Claude is connected to your WhatsApp, you can handle much of that by just asking. Below are 12 things business owners use it for, each with a prompt you can copy.

Not connected yet? Follow How to Connect Claude to WhatsApp. It takes about two minutes and no code.

1. Start the day with who's waiting for you

Who's waiting for a reply from me since yesterday at 6 pm? Put customers first and keep it short.

Claude finds the chats where someone else sent the last message, reads them, and gives you a short list of who's waiting and what they want. It can tell a customer asking for a price from a friend sending a meme, so you can start with what matters.

2. Catch up on a busy group

Summarize the "Suppliers" group from today. Did anyone confirm Friday's delivery?

Instead of scrolling through 80 messages, you get the decisions, the open questions, and who said what. You can also ask about one detail: "What time did Pedro say the truck arrives?"

3. Find something a customer told you

Find the address Carlos sent me this week.

What size did Laura ask for?

Claude searches your messages by what they say, across all your chats or just one. Search covers messages that arrived after you linked WhatsApp, up to the last 90 days. It searches text and photo captions, not what's inside voice notes or files.

4. Reply without opening WhatsApp

Reply to Ana: yes, we have it in blue, it's $450 and I can deliver on Thursday.

You give Claude the rough idea, and it writes the message and shows it to you before sending. The message goes out from your own number, so Ana sees a normal reply from you. To answer a specific message in a chat, say so: "Reply to Ana's question about the delivery date." Claude sends it as a quoted reply.

5. Answer the same question many times

Find everyone who asked about prices today and draft a reply for each one. Don't send anything yet.

When the same question comes in all day, Claude can go through the chats and draft a reply for each person, using each one's name and what they asked. You review the drafts, then tell Claude which ones to send.

6. Send a file you already have

Send María the catalog PDF that Juan sent me last week.

Send Pedro this as a PDF: https://docs.google.com/document/d/…

Claude can forward a file someone sent you (a PDF, photo, video, voice note or document) to someone else. It can also send a file from a link. Google Drive links work too: Docs and Slides go out as PDFs and Sheets as Excel files. The file must be shared as "Anyone with the link".

7. Look at a photo a customer sent

Show me the photo of the damaged part Luis sent this morning. What do you see?

Claude can look at photos in your chats and describe them. Voice notes, videos and documents work differently: Claude gives you a download link so you can open them yourself. Claude can't listen to voice notes.

8. Schedule a message for later

Tomorrow at 9 am, send Roberto: "Hi Roberto, just confirming your appointment at 11. See you then!"

Write the message now, when you remember, and it goes out at the right time. This works even if your computer and phone are off, because the message is sent from WhatsApp MCP's servers.

9. Set up repeating reminders

On the 1st of every month at 10 am, send Juan: "Hi Juan, a friendly reminder that this month's payment is due today. Thanks!"

Every Monday at 8 am, send the "Team" group: "Good morning! What are this week's priorities?"

Messages can repeat daily, weekly, every two weeks, monthly, every three months, every six months or yearly, with an optional end date. They go out at the same local time even when daylight saving time changes.

10. Send the same notice to several customers

Send this to Ana, Luis, Marta and the "Wholesale" group: "We're closed on Monday for the holiday. We'll be back on Tuesday at 9."

You can send to up to 10 people or groups at a time, or schedule it for later. WhatsApp MCP is not a marketing tool. Sending the same message to many people over and over can get a number flagged by WhatsApp, which is why there's a limit.

11. Check and cancel what's scheduled

What messages do I have scheduled for this week?

Cancel the monthly reminder to Juan.

Did yesterday's message to Roberto go out?

You can see what's coming up, what was sent and what failed, and change your mind at any time.

12. Fix a mistake

Edit my last message to Pedro: the price is $500, not $5,000.

Delete the message I just sent to the wrong group.

Claude can edit or delete messages you sent. Do it soon: WhatsApp may not apply an edit or a "delete for everyone" after about 15 minutes. You can also tidy up: "Mark the Suppliers group as read."

Bonus: combine it with your other Claude connectors

If you've also connected your calendar or other tools to Claude, you can combine them in one request:

Check my calendar for Friday afternoon and offer Sara two times for the fitting.

Claude checks your calendar, writes the message and sends it to Sara once you approve it.

What it doesn't do

So you know what to expect:

  • No automatic replies. Claude acts when you ask. It doesn't answer customers on its own while you're away. Scheduled messages are the only thing that goes out without you in the chat.
  • No listening to voice notes. Claude can show you a download link, but it can't hear the audio.
  • Limited old history. When you link, Claude sees the recent messages WhatsApp shares with new devices, and everything from then on. Search covers up to the last 90 days.
  • No mass marketing. You can send the same message to at most 10 recipients at a time.
  • No WhatsApp Business labels or catalog. Claude works with your chats, contacts, groups and files.

Tips for better results

  • Use names the way they're saved in your phone. If two contacts share a name, Claude asks which one you mean.
  • Say how you want the answer: "short", "a table", "only customers", "in Spanish".
  • Let Claude draft first when a reply matters. Say "don't send yet", read the draft, then say "send it".
  • Use the same chat for follow-ups. After a summary, you can just say "reply to the second one".
